Automobile Inspection
Clients have long ago gotten used to the fact that, at the RALEX
Autoservice
garage, the automobile check-up takes place not as a “visual
inspection”, but with the help of special, sophisticated
diagnostic equipment.
The necessity for this equipment occurred long ago. At one time,
it was possible to trust the judgment of a professional mechanic. He
gave a conclusive opinion about the condition of the automobile,
based on his knowledge and experience.
Today, the automotive market has grown to extraordinary
proportions. The number of makes of automobiles “running the
streets” is numbered in the hundreds. The complexity of their
running systems is such that the “human factor” when evaluating
the technical condition of the automobile may play a grave role and
bring about a situation with a fatal outcome. This in itself creates
the necessity for an objective evaluation of the condition of the
car.
Aside from the above, for an example, a customer needs to do a
test for his car. The test takes place in a garage, on a stand, and
all parameters must conform to strict and specific limits. In the
same spirit, if a customer needs to buy a “second hand”
automobile, he wants to be sure that what he is buying is a good
automobile and not a “cat in the bag”. How can he be reassured?
And, simply, "to repair or to service"? An up-to-date
diagnostic check-up allows problems to be detected early and to
determine what areas the service personnel or mechanic will need to
pay attention to.
The RALEX
Autoservice
garage is one of the few in Israel, where all the necessary
equipment is housed under one roof. And the equipment is constantly
maintained, used and updated.
And so, the automobile check-up takes place according to the
following order:
Engine Inspection. Among others, includes inspection of
compression, the loss of the condensation of gases in the cylinders
of the piston system, inspection of the engine’s oil pressure, and
the sounds the engine makes while running.
Inspection of the Gearshift Includes inspection of automatic
and manual transmission systems, inspection of the suspension system
- this is the shock absorber inspection as well.
Inspection of the Wheel Alignment and Convergence Systems
Also includes inspections of wheel stability, "pull" of
the automobile to the side, and inspection of the braking system.
Inspection of the Automobile’s Body. Includes inspection of
the automobile’s paint and varnish, which means that the car is
visually inspected and checked for the presence of oil spots and
spots of other origin, as well as matte spots, and the evenness of
exterior color. Incorrectly painted surfaces are determined, as well
as rough spots. Also included is a check-up of the automobile’s
accessories and interior, functionality of various body elements,
and an evaluation of the paint’s thickness, using a special,
state-of-the art electronic method.
All evaluations are made according to the highest standards of
automotive excellence.
