Inspection of Running Parts

Inspection of the running parts occurs with the help of special equipment, developed and manufactured by the famous German company, BOSH. The system is completely computerized, and works automatically, without human intervention. The system needs input of only the data about the automobile which is being inspected, and then begins the testing process, giving the driver instructions as to what he should do during the test. The system is very convenient, accurate, and simple. The whole inspection takes approximately two to three minutes.

The inspection may be divided into several stages.

Pull of the car to the side. The terminology "pull" is used here. The car "pulls to the side". This means that something is not working properly in the system that deals with wheel alignment and convergence.

Effectiveness of the shock absorbers. Sometimes, the following happens: from the outside, the shock absorbers are dry, clean, and beautiful, but it is almost impossible to tell how well they really work. Therefore, shock absorbers are inspected one by one. The functional ability of each is evaluated separately. If one of the shock absorbers is "weak", while the other one is "stronger", the car will "sail" on the road. If the difference in vibration is within normal limits - this is a guarantee of stability on the road.

Evaluation of the breaks. This check-up is divided into several stages. The effectiveness of the braking system is checked in whole, and, aside from this, - the "beat and palpation" of the brakes are evaluated. If the "beat and palpation" are higher than the established norms, this means that there is a non-uniform wear on the braking disc or chock. This means that the car will shake when braking and that the effectiveness of the breaking system is decreasing. If the "beat and palpation" are higher than normal, the wheels are removed and the breaking system is evaluated again.
